New movie Billie Eilish: The world is a little blurry– a documentary about vegan pop singer Billie Eilish – has just premiered in cinemas and on Apple TV +. The documentary was produced by Apple Original Films and, in association with Interscope Films, by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker R.J. Cutler, who like documentaries The war room, A perfect candidate, Thin, and The world after Dick Cheney.
The film follows the meteoric rise of the young vegan artist after the release of her debut album When we all fall asleep where do we go?which Eilish produced in her bedroom with the help of her brother and fellow musician FINNEAS. Eilish has been vegan since 2014 and in recent years has increasingly spoken out in favor of the harmful effects of animal husbandry on the environment. She often uses her social media platforms to get her fans to go vegan. Between coproducing their Grammy Award winning album When we all fall asleep where do we go? Eilish started a vegan clothing line with H&M and helped promote her mother’s Maggie Baird Support + feed Initiative that supports vegan restaurants while providing food to frontline workers and other people in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.
