This month the vegan actress Alicia Silverstone – star of the film of the 90s Clueless– In collaboration with the wellness company Garden of Life, a range of functional vegan apple cider vinegar gum vitamins have been launched. Silverstone organic gums are available under the mykind Organics brand and are made with functional ingredients to promote immune system health, digestive health, energy boosting and weight management.

Silverstone’s vegan lifestyle
Silverstone has been vegan for more than 20 years and also raised her son Bear Blu Jarecki vegan. Over the years, the 44-year-old actress has used her fame to promote animal rights through campaigns with organizations like Mercy For Animals and People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). Last year Silverstone and Jarecki partnered with PETA on a special campaign to create a 30-year-old ad from Linda and Paul McCartney urging fans to “go vegetarian” but with an updated “go vegan” message. Silverstone has also written two books, The friendly diet (which records their herbal journey) and The friendly mom (A Guide to Plant Motherhood).
