Creamy vegan pumpkin spice chai lattes

Warm up your morning with this homemade pumpkin and spice chai latte from One Green Planet Fall: Plant-Based Recipes to Celebrate Harvest Time Cookbook. Add a shot (or two) of espresso for an extra caffeine kick.

What you need:

2 chai tea bags
2 cups of pure, unsweetened vegan milk
6 tbsp pumpkin puree
2 teaspoons of maple syrup
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon pumpkin spice mixture

2 cinnamon sticks, for garnish

What you are doing:

1. Put the tea bag, milk, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, vanilla and pumpkin spice mixture in a saucepan. Simmer slowly for 2 to 3 minutes. Serve in two cups, each garnished with a cinnamon stick.
