Dunkins oat milk supplier brings vegan creams onto the market
On January 1st, HP Hood, LLC – a brand founded in 1846 and known for its dairy products – expanded theirs Planet oats Line with three creams in the flavors French Vanilla, Caramel and Coffee Cake. The new creams are made from oat milk and have a suggested retail price (MSRP) of $ 3.99 per 32-ounce carton. The creams are part of a larger expansion of the Planet Oat line that HP Hood launched in 2018 with oat milk in the flavors Original, Extra Creamy, Vanilla and Dark Chocolate.
More vegan oat options
In addition to the creams, HP Hood is expanding its oat milk options with original unsweetened and vanilla flavors (MSRP $ 3.99 per 52-ounce carton) and adding two new flavors (Mint Fudge Chip and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough) to its Planet Oat Frozen Desserts – a vegan ice cream line launched last spring in six flavors with an MSRP of $ 4.99 per pint.
“We have something for every taste, diet and lifestyle, especially with our latest offerings including unsweetened oat milk and oat milk creamer,” said Sarah Barow, HP Hood communications director. “For those who want to take part in Veganuary, the new oat milk creams from Planet Oat are the perfect way to start the morning. They’re plant-based and dairy-free with no compromise on quality or taste, so with just one simple step you can stick to your normal routine and delicious swap. And if you’re looking for something sweet, Planet Oat Frozen Desserts is the place for you. “
Planet Oat at Dunkin
After testing oat milk at select locations last January, the fast food chain Dunkin added Planet Oat’s oat milk to more than 9,000 locations in August. The vegan milk is now available at Dunkin as part of the new Iced Oatmilk Latte, as well as a selection of hot and cold beverages, and as a replacement for any milk option (additional fees may apply).
