Easy vegan chocolate peanut butter graham bars


You can customize this recipe from the Almost Easy Cheap Vegan Swap the graham cracker crumbs for your favorite vegan cookie crumbs or swap the peanut butter for almond, cashew, or nut-free sunflower butter.

What you need:

1 cup of powdered sugar
6 tablespoons of vegan graham cracker crumbs
¼ cup of peanut butter
¼ cup vegan butter, melted
⅔ Cup of dark chocolate or vegan chocolate chips, melted

What you are doing:

  1. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together powdered sugar, cracker crumbs, peanut butter, and butter to create a thick batter. Place the batter in a prepared pan and press firmly to cover the bottom.
  3. In a microwaveable bowl, melt the chocolate every 20 seconds, pausing to stir if necessary. Remove from microwave just before completely melting and stir to stop melting. Pour over the base layer of dough and distribute evenly.
  4. Place in the freezer for 20 minutes or until chocolate is set. After setting, remove from the freezer, remove from pan, and cut into 1-inch squares.
