Paul, Stella and Mary are streaming live from their home to celebrate Linda’s meat-free recipes and provide a glimpse into their daily lives.
Everything in the (vegetarian) family
Linda McCartney – wife of legendary Sir Paul McCartney of the Beatles and mother of fashion designer Stella and food writer Mary – advocated meatless eating over 30 years ago. She died of breast cancer in 1998, but her influence stayed in the family. Paul, Mary and Stella are all vegetarians and have their own way of promoting an animal-free lifestyle. Most famously, the family trio launched the UK Meat Free Monday campaign in 2009. The McCartneys continue to advocate this movement to this day – both in the UK and around the world.
Linda was an avid housewife and this latest cookbook features 90 of her best recipes that have been slightly revised and repackaged for the modern vegan audience. During the live stream, the McCartneys discuss life in the McCartney household and their favorite dishes – from sausage rolls and pulled jackfruit burgers to other filling and nutritious recipes. Linda’s groundbreaking meat-free diet also lives off the UK-based company – Linda McCartney’s Foods – which makes a wide range of vegetarian and vegan-friendly alternative meat and dairy products.
The live stream will take place on June 29 at 10:30 a.m. PST (6:30 p.m. BST). cards This live conversation with the McCartneys includes a copy of the new cookbook, which can also be pre-ordered Amazon. The live stream is recorded and is available one week after the first broadcast time.
