Try these vegan cocktails to forget about 2020

After all, 2020 is (almost) officially over. This new year all we want to do is stay home, play fun music and enjoy some adult drinks. To achieve this, we have found four juicy variants of classic cold-weather beverages, where we say goodbye to 2020 and say hello until 2021. Bottom up!

1 tablespoon of whole cloves
1 tablespoon of whole allspice
½ tablespoon of whole peppercorn
1 orange peel

What you are doing:
1. Heat the wine and brandy over medium heat. Add spices and bring to a boil.
2. Bring to a boil and cook for another eight minutes.
3. Pass the liquid through a sieve and serve with an orange peel garnish.

1 candy cane

2. Once the chocolate chips have melted, add the baileys, whiskey, and peppermint and stir until heated through.
3. Put the candy cane with the stick side in the cup.
4. Pour the Baileys mixture into the mug and top it up as dandies.

Hot butter rum
This vegan version of the winter classic is a warming treat.

½ tablespoon of vegan butter, sliced
1 cup of apple cider
2 ounces of flavored rum
⅛ teaspoon vanilla
¼ teaspoon of cinnamon
1 wholeStar anise

What you are doing:

2. Mix apple cider, rum and vanilla over medium heat until heated through.
3. Pour liquid over butter, sprinkle with cinnamon and top with star anise.

Hot toddy
Hot toddlers are great drinks to curl up with by the fire (or space heater) with a good book. Fight cold? This drink is also good for whatever ails you.

2 ounces bourbon
2 teaspoons of agave nectar
1 lemon wedge
1 cinnamon stick
