Vegan supermodel Petra Němcová launches cruelty-free beauty brand without waste
New vegan brand Ace of Air Recently launched with the goal of setting a new zero waste precedent in the beauty and wellness industry. Ace of Air was founded by the vegan supermodel Petra Němcová, the former Revlon manager Stephanie Stahl and the finance professional David Knowlton and offers a system in which customers “buy the product, borrow the package” – customers receive a “boomerang box”, which they fill with empty containers and return to the company – to create a circular, waste-free model so that the packaging doesn’t end up in the ocean or in landfills.
“In the fall of 2017, we began creating the business of our dreams – an uplifting, inclusive brand for women and men that aims to have a positive impact on people and our planet with powerful, nourishing skin care and supplement products,” said Stahl. “We did that, not because we thought the world needed a different beauty and wellness brand. It is not so. We did this because our planet needs a beauty and wellness brand that will fundamentally change what and how we consume. ”
Beauty for people, animals and the planet
The brand’s formulations are made with wildly harvested and fair trade ingredients and without parabens, silicones, sulfates, formaldehyde, mineral oil, petroleum, phthalates and allergens like gluten, wheat or artificial binders and fillers. Ace of Air’s first eight products include two serums, two moisturizers, and four nutritional supplements that are designed to support gut health, tighten skin, and promote omega fatty acids – all without animal products or testing.
“Our products are expertly formulated at the intersection of herbal wisdom and modern science, and focus on products that work from the inside out and are deeply holistic at every level,” said Němcová. “We work with a brilliant group of experts including dermatologists, herbalists, naturopaths, nutritionists, natural pharmacists and environmentalists to formulate products that uplift our bodies, people and planets across the value chain.”
Ace of Air’s product lines cost between $ 35 and $ 85. The brand is currently taking pre-orders and will ship in four to six weeks.
