Veggie Grill opens vegan taco shop
Today vegan fast-casual chain Veggie grill starts Más Veggies Taqueria. The virtual Mexican restaurant concept is operated from Veggie Grill locations and only offers vegan meals via popular delivery platforms such as Doordash, Postmates, Uber Eats and Grubhub. The menu at the Más Veggies Taqueria includes dishes such as crispy poblano chick, shredded jackfruit chipotle carnitas, cauliflower asada, hearty Tex-Mex taco meat and crispy Baja fish in the form of tacos, burritos, nachos and shells .
A natural next step
“Veggie Grill is the industry leader in plant-based restaurants and Más Veggies Taqueria is a natural next step for us to advance plant-based eating nationwide and bring a new and exciting experience right to people’s doorsteps,” said TK, Co-founder of Veggie Grill. Said Pillan. “As restaurants across the country remain closed or have drastically reduced seating capacity for safety reasons, Veggie Grill also took the opportunity to look for alternative ways to reach these conscious gourmets. The virtual Más Veggies Taqueria accelerates movement based on plants and uses the existing veggie grill kitchens across the country. “
Further locations will follow
Más Veggies Taqueria is available in Hollywood, Farmers Market LA, Pasadena, Long Beach, Boston, New York City, and downtown Seattle. Additional locations in Southern California, Portland and Seattle are expected to roll out the concept later this month.
